Open 24 hours, 7 days a week, Florent is a fabulous place to eat in New York when you’re hungry, particularly late at night or in the early hours of the morning after a spot of clubbing. Located in the ueber-trendy meat-packing district, this is not at all pretentious or for people-watching, but a low-key diner serving reasonably priced French food. I remember being taken here for dinner the first time I visited New York in 1998 and loved it so much that I’d return with various friends when I moved there…
